Rolling Shooting Ends in Fiery Crash in Prairie Village; Suspect Still at Large
A dangerous rolling shooting that began in Overland Park and ended in a fiery crash in Prairie Village has left two victims injured, as authorities continue their search for the suspect.
According to police, the incident unfolded Sunday evening after a driver picked up a female passenger in Kansas City. Shortly after leaving the location, the driver noticed they were being followed by a red or maroon 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing Kansas license plate 9103ACY.
Investigators say the driver attempted to evade the suspect by turning onto Roe Avenue. However, the पीछuing vehicle caught up and opened fire, discharging multiple rounds. The shooting occurred across several نقاط along Roe Avenue, including near 99th Street, 91st Street, and the Franklin Park area.
